March Astrophotography 2019

March consisted of a flurry of Five awesome astro shoots. These featured meeting up with Plymouth photographer Ben McConnon and Canadian photographer Esme Battern before her return home. A few of my favourite photographs below.

The first shoot of March took place at Wembury Beach close to Plymouth. I met up with Ben and we spent a few hours photographing the winter sky from beach.

This was the scene from myself and Esme’s final shoot together at Aymer Cove. Roughing it all night in the car paid off with an incredible view of the Milky Way in the early hours of the morning.

For my next venture, I travelled west to Portreath. Meeting up with photographer Matt Mario, we spent a few hours photographing this dramatic part of the coast as Orion sunk below the horizon.

My fourth shoot took me locally to Whitsand Bay.
